Nine gas transmission system operators in the countries around the Baltic Sea have signed a MoU which aims to coordinate and facilitate hydrogen infrastructure.

The construction is expected to be completed within 17 months and would extend the first phase of the project, a 60 km gas pipeline.

The US$550 million investment would include a gas processing plant and a pipeline, the source told Reuters.
