Gazprom's partner launches its largest plant in Russia
On 14 May, German producer RMA Pipeline Equipment launched its biggest plant to date in Alabuga, central Russia. Russian gas giant Gazprom is RMA’s largest partner in the country. RMA also supplies major oil and gas companies such as BASF, Chevron and Eni.
Declared investments in the Alabuga production project of pipeline ball valves for the oil and gas industry have made approximately US$ 48.7 million. The plant's annual capacity will make 11 000 ball valves.
The project will be implemented in several stages. This year, RMA Pipeline will invest in the production of 500 mm ball valves. The other part of declared investments will be used for manufacturing 700 mm and 1400 mm products, which will be turned out starting from 2016 and 2021, respectively.
RMA Pipeline Equipment is a producer and supplier of structures and high quality pipeline equipment as well as controlling and measurement technologies and special components for gas, water and heating supplies.
