Exoma employs second drill rig for Galilee basin
Exoma Energy has employed a second drilling rig for it’s Galilee Basin exploration programme in Queensland, Australia.
Energy Drilling Australia has been contracted to provide a Foremost Explorer III-65 drill rig and crew to drill 4 - 8 core wells. The first well, Alma-1, is expected to be spudded on April 25 2012.
The Alma-1 well is located in ATP 996, 100 km north of Longreach. The well is specifically targeting the Permian coal measures and the overlying Toolebuc shale.
