Gazprom’s Azerbaijan gas supply update

St. Petersburg has hosted a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Rovnag Abdullayev, President of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR).
The parties addressed issues of the bilateral co-operation in the energy sector between the two companies. The point of the meeting was to resume natural gas supplies to Azerbaijan by Gazprom. It was noted that export gas supplies would make it possible to meet the growing energy demand of the Republic.
