Volvo CE appoints new President of Sales Region EMEA

Carl Slotte has been appointed President of Sales Region EMEA at Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE). In his new role, which he assumes 1 October 2016, Carl will be responsible for meeting the diverse needs of customers in the strategically important EMEA region and strengthening Volvo CE’s market position.
Slotte has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, including several senior positions in Volvo CE’s global functions, sales organisation and within the dealer network. He has held a number of leadership positions at Volvo CE, including Senior Vice President for Global Key Accounts, Vice-President of Hub North within Sales Region EMEA, Managing Director of Volvo CE Russia (Volvo Vostok ZAO) and Managing Director of owned dealer Volvo CE Finland OY.
Carl succeeds Tomas Kuta, who was appointed Senior Vice President of Global Sales for Volvo CE in June 2016.
