World Pipelines,
An oil spill in Moscow’s river Moskva caught fire on 12 August, sending black smoke across the city, and a few injured people to hospital.
The underwater pipeline – which transports oil to the local Moscow refinery – allegedly burst and is said to have been the cause of the fire.
However, officials have disclosed that the river was set alight after a nearby grass fire reached the oil in the river, having leaked from the pipeline.
