Rosneft and Yokogawa sign a co-operation agreement
Igor Sechin, President and Chairman of the Management Board, Rosneft and Shuzo Kaihori, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Yokogawa Electric Corporation signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement at the 21st World Petroleum Congress.
Under this agreement, Rosneft will on a tender basis consider Yokogawa as a vendor of automated process control systems for the Company’s subsidiaries.
In its turn, Yokogawa guarantees the supply of cutting-edge process control and measurement systems, information technology and instruments as well as the provision of their implementation and further maintenance services.
In addition, under the Strategic Cooperation Agreement Rosneft and Yokogawa will set up technical centres on the basis of the Company’s subsidiaries that will provide technical training, professional development and information support for oil and gas production, refining and petrochemical industries.
