Keystone XL decision still pending

For over six years the White House has appointed questions regarding the US$8 billion TransCanada Keystone XL Pipeline project to the State Department.
Under Bush’s presidency, it was decided that a presidential permit was required for oil pipeline border-crossing.
As a result, President Obama has used Bush’s order as the reason for why the pipeline decision is being delayed for longer than the average decision time of 479 days.
