CCIA announces Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge presenting companies
The Colorado Cleantech Industries Association (CCIA) has announced the innovative technology companies drawn from a nationwide pool of applicants that have been selected to present to the inaugural Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge in Denver, on 2 October 2014.
Through partnerships with Noble Energy, Encana and ConocoPhillips, CCIA developed the Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge to assist the oil and natural gas industry in identifying new technologies to make energy development safer, more environmentally responsible and cleaner. After a national call for applications, the energy partners selected 12 companies that will be given the opportunity to pitch their technology to decision makers from the oil and natural gas industries.
Dave Heskin, Technology and Projects Manager at ConocoPhillips said: “ConocoPhillips is pleased to be a founding supporter of the Oil and Gas Cleantech Challenge. We look forward to working with clean technology leaders and the oil and gas industry in Colorado and nationally reinforce ConoccoPhillips’ commitment to economic growth and a healthy environment”.

Chris Shapard, CCIA’s Executive Director, said: “We have been so pleased with the positive response to this program.
