HTRI, a leading source of process heat transfer technology, research, software and services, is offering a two day course covering selection criteria for common applications and guidelines for thermal design.

The Process Heat Exchangers: Applications and Rules-of-Thumb Short Course will take place at HTRI headquarters in Navasota, Texas, on 1 – 2 February 2016, and is open to engineering students and engineers who are new to the workforce.

Course attendees will learn how to develop checklists for solving thermal design and operational issues by using industry-based case studies; receive a tour of HTRI’s state-of-the-art testing facility; and take home a complimentary copy of the class reference book, Process Heat Transfer: Principles, Applications, and Rules of Thumb by Robert Serth and Thomas Lestina, HTRI Vice President of Engineering Services.

“It is our goal at HTRI to provide our clients opportunities to further their understanding of heat transfer and thermal processes,” said Thomas Lestina.

“We believe that offering short courses like this prove to be an invaluable resource to our customers in helping them achieve a competitive advantage in all things related to heat transfer.”

HTRI offers a variety of short courses, seminars and workshops based on the latest research, reliable methods and relevant standards. Registration for this course is available until 20 January 2016.
