TAP
The Trans Adriatic Pipeline will transport Caspian natural gas to Europe. TAP will connect with the Trans Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP) at the Greek-Turkish border, before coming ashore in Southern Italy to connect to the Italian natural gas network.
TAP is currently in its implementation phase and construction of the 870 km pipeline is expected to begin in 2016. TAP's shareholders include major energy companies SOCAR, Statoil, BP, Fluxys, Enagas and Axpo.
