World Pipelines,
Trans Adriatic Pipeline AG’s (TAP) procurement process moves forward as it issues its next Invitations to Tender (ITT) for the supply of large diameter ball valves and actuators.
The ITT covers 55 valves at 48 in. and 36 in., class 600 and 900. The requirements and quality of the large diameter ball valves and actuators include significant safety features of a high engineering standard in order to ensure the highest quality of the TAP pipeline in relation to technical quality and safety.
Knut Steinar Kvindesland, Procurement Director at TAP said: “The ball valves and actuators are a critical part of the pipeline as without these, the pipeline cannot function. They will be installed by the onshore Engineering Pipeline Construction contractor(s) that TAP selects in Greece, Italy and Albania.”
Subcontractors interested in working for one of the companies that TAP selects for its contracts, please go to register your details, which will be passed on to companies invited to tender in TAP’s procurement process.

Construction begins on Greensand’s carbon dioxide transit terminal at Port Esbjerg
When the tanks are full, the liquefied carbon dioxide will be loaded onto a dedicated carrier from Royal Wagenborg and shipped to the INEOS Nini platform in the Danish North Sea. From there, it will be safely injected via pipeline into subsurface reservoirs approximately 1800 m beneath the seabed for permanent storage.
