ARM open new office in Calgary
In Canada, Asset Risk Management LLC (ARM) recently opened a new office in the heart of the Calgary business district. By dedicating resources to Canada, ARM will be able to expand its already growing footprint in the exploration and production (E&P) sector.
The availability of private equity and other capital sources to fund the development of unconventional resources will accelerate asset development in Canada.“Given our E&P industry expertise, we believe Canada offers attractive growth potential,” said Christopher Lang, senior vice president, ARM. “A presence in Canada will improve our North American fundamental outlook as we become more embedded in the region. This knowledge and experience will make us an even more valued advisor to our clients, existing and new.”
ARM has hired Stephanie Barker to lead the Calgary office, which will initially focus on ARM’s core hedge advisory business to establish and build relationships with E&P clients in Canada. Over time, ARM expects that the new office will be able to offer the full suite of producer services currently offered to ARM clients in the US.
