Gas supply to Europe
Today, as part of the 4th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum, a working meeting took place between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Dusan Bajatovic, Director General of state-owned Srbijagas.
The parties addressed the bilateral co-operation in the gas sector, placing an emphasis on Russian gas supplies to Serbia as well as the use of Serbian underground reservoirs to store natural gas in the country.
It was highlighted that Gazprom had almost fully replenished the Banatski Dvor UGS facility. The facility's working gas volume currently makes up 450 million m3. Therefore, Banatski Dvor will provide an extra resource for supplying Serbian consumers with Russian gas as well as enhance the reliability of Russian gas export to Serbia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina in the coming Winter.
