World Pipelines,
Michels Corporation has announced the promotion of Benjamin Ploederl to General Manager of Estimating and Project Controls for Michels Pipeline Construction.
Ploederl began his career at Michels in 2005 as a Project Manager for road construction operations. He has since advanced to represent the company in several large-scale joint ventures. In 2008, and again in 2012, he served as Project Director for joint ventures on some of the most significant pipeline work within the US, and, in 2010, Ploederl led the Mitchell Interchange highway reconstruction project in Milwaukee.
“Ben has proven to be very capable of leading large projects and executing complex plans with great efficiency,” said Bob Osborn, Senior Vice President of Michels Pipeline Construction. “Those skills coupled with his ability to engage all stakeholders to work toward a common goal make him a great fit for this role.”
Ploederl’s new role will involve the continuous advancement of estimating and project control processes and procedures for Michels, as well as continuing to meet the needs of the company’s team and clients.
