World Pipelines,
A working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Vladimir Semashko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, took place at the Gazprom headquarters on 8 June.
The parties addressed relevant issues related to co-operation in the gas sector. It was noted that Gazprom fully complied with its obligations for providing reliable gas supplies to Belarus. The required amounts of gas are delivered to Belarusian consumers by Gazprom Transgaz Belarus, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom. Gas supplies in 2015 amounted to 18.8 billion m3.
In addition, Gazprom continues to ensure smooth transit of Russian gas. Last year, the company transported 45.4 billion m3 of natural gas across Belarus to the CIS, Europe and the Kaliningrad Region.
As the largest taxpayer in the Republic of Belarus, Gazprom Transgaz Belarus makes full and timely payments to the country's budget, as well as settles payments with Gazprom for gas delivered from Russia.
