Pigs Unlimited International, LLC, acquires assets of the manufacturing division of Pipeline Pigging Products

Pigs Unlimited International, LLC, has announced that as of 1 October 2024, it has acquired the assets of the manufacturing division of Pipeline Pigging Products.
As part of the acquisition, job offers were given to all Pipeline Pigging Products (PPP) employees, and Pigs Unlimited International (PUI) is happy that many of the staff have decided to join its growing family.
“Pigs Unlimited looks forward to providing the same great service, pricing and terms as PPP, and we appreciate the chance to prove ourselves as a loyal, competitive supplier in these ever-changing times”, said Allen Pennington, President, PUI.
“Like PPP, Pigs Unlimited is also a small, family owned and operated company, based in Tomball. We have been in business since 1995, with 50+ employees and 100 000 ft2 manufacturing facility, and we currently operate the largest cleaning pig manufacturing facility in the US. We keep stock in sizes from 2 – 42 in. in most models and can make custom pigs on request in any style, from steel to foam or even solid cast urethane.”
Flowmore Services, a division of PPP that provides pipe cleaning and consultation services, will continue to be owned and operated by Spencer Cubage. Flowmore Services was established in 1977. It is a pipeline cleaning company utilising foam, polly pigs.
World Pipelines spoke exclusively to Allen Pennington (PUI) about this acquisition.
Pennington spoke about the motivation for the acquisition: “We wanted to accomplish the following with this acquisition: market consolidation, an expansion of our customer base, and to gain a cadre of trained employees. --With our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, we can service the increased customer demand with our market leading delivery times and service. We are also using our relationship with Flowmore services to give our clients an opening to top line cleaning services.”
As for how the manufacturing capabilities enhance PUI's existing product line, Pennington confirms that: “trained employees with over 15 years of pig manufacturing product will make for a unique customer experience. We plan to honour PPP’s legacy in the market by continuing to provide the highest quality service and product at the best delivery times available. As we know in the pipeline industry, timing is important. The service our customers are used to and deserve will continue, and we will strive to improve value in both product quality and service.”
