EVRAZ North America acquires production assets from WCM

EVRAZ North America plc (the company) recently announced that its subsidiary Evraz Inc Canada has acquired substantially all the production assets of Western Canada Machining Inc (WCM), a high volume API couplings producer located in Edmonton, Canada.
“We are excited to add coupling manufacturing capabilities to our portfolio of OCTG operations in Western Canada and welcome the former employees of WCM into the EVRAZ team,” said Allan Harapiak Vice President of Tubular Operations for EVRAZ North America.
“We also look forward to continuing the working relationship with the diverse group of suppliers and customers that have helped make WCM a successful company,” said Harapiak.
The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of EVRAZ plc, one of the largest vertically integrated steel and mining businesses in the world. The company is a leading North American producer of engineered steel products for rail, energy and industrial end markets.

First gas flows through Strohm’s pipeline in Germany
