UPI wins engineering company of the year award
UniversalPegasus International (UPI), an upstream engineering and design consultancy company, head-quartered in Aberdeen adds to its success with an Oil and Gas award.
The company, which employs more than 1200 specialist designers and project engineers, was presented with the prestigious award of Gulf Coast Engineering Company of the Year, at the 3rd Annual Oil and Gas Awards Gala Dinner in Houston.
Tony Stead, Business Development Manager for UPI, said the prize was a fantastic accomplishment for the company. He said: “We take great pride in winning this award, it is a fantastic achievement for UPI and this recognition is testament to the hard work and loyal service our employees deliver at UPI and are rightly proud of receiving this accolade – they make this possible.”
UPI was one of 70 finalists shortlisted for the award, which recognises engineering excellence and outstanding achievements within the region which considers factors including; health and safety, corporate social responsibility and environmental stewardship.
UPI has supported the energy sector for more than 50 years through its offices in UK, US, Canada and Trinidad and Tobago. The company is a well-established and accredited ENR (Engineering News-Record) engineering design contractor, which specialises in the upstream onshore and offshore oil and gas markets with an extensive global project delivery track record.
