CRP Subsea, an AIS company, has made a significant investment to expand its polyurethane moulding manufacturing facility.
This expansion reflects CRP Subsea's commitment to meeting the increasing demand for high-quality cable protection solutions and enhancing its capabilities to serve the offshore wind, oil & gas, seismic, and telecoms industries effectively.
The investment involves the addition of two state-of-the-art semi-automatic moulding presses to CRP Subsea's already world-class manufacturing moulding facility. This facility primarily supports the production of the original market leading Uraduct® cable protection system and engineered mouldings that play a crucial role in protecting cables used in demanding offshore environments.
Ray Cann, the Operations Director at CRP Subsea, states, "The addition of these semi-automatic moulding presses to our facility demonstrates our commitment to staying at the forefront of our industry. This investment enhances our capability to meet the rising demand for cable protection solutions and positions us to serve our customers more efficiently. We anticipate that this expansion will lead to a 50% increase in moulding capacity, a crucial step forward in our journey to better support our customers."
The development of CRP Subsea's polyurethane moulding manufacturing facility supports the company's continuing growth journey. This strategic move is driven by the company's dedication to ensuring seamless operations and facilitating the reduction of lead times for its valued customers, thereby exceeding industry requirements.
The expansion of its polyurethane moulding manufacturing facility in Skelmersdale, Lancashire not only shows the company's dedication to excellence, but also strengthens its position as a leader in the field. The improved capacity and efficiency will enable CRP Sub-sea to meet the needs of its customers with even greater agility and responsiveness.
