Ms. Smiles is recognised with this prestigious distinction for leadership in the oil and gas industry. Denise Smiles is the CEO of Optical Metrology Services Ltd (OMS), a company that specialises in supplying pipe measurement and inspection products and services to the oil and gas industry all over the world.
OMS’ services include offering a wide range of internal and external measurement tools to ensure the precise measurement of pipes in onshore and offshore oil and gas installations.
OMS is now launching a service to internally inspect and measure welds to ensure the quality of the weld thus preventing environmental disasters.??
Ms. Smiles joined Optical Metrology Services in 2006. She has a proven track record of more than 15 years of experience helping blue chip companies improve their revenue streams and profit, and has gone on to do the same for OMS.??
Recently, the company, which has headquarters in Houston, TX and Hertfordshire, UK, received the prestigious 2014 Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category, the second time the company has won this important award.
A global leader in the oil and gas industry, OMS also provides its measurement expertise to other industries, from aerospace and defense to academic institutions, and others.
