Primoris awarded pipeline contract

Primoris Services Corporation (Primoris) has announced a new industrial award that is valued at approximately US$10 million.
The project has been awarded by a major energy infrastructure company for work on its natural gas transmission pipeline system in North Carolina. The project involves the installation of piping and yard valves for bidirectional flow at existing mainline compressor stations. The purpose of the work is to facilitate the reversal of gas flow in the pipeline system.
The contract has been secured by Primoris Energy Services' industrial division, part of its Energy segment. Since the award was signed in 1Q17, it will be included in the company’s first quarter backlog calculation.
the project’s work scope is scheduled to begin in 2Q17, with completion scheduled for 4Q17.
