UniversalPegasus appoints new Business Development Manager

Aberdeen–headquartered upstream company, UniversalPegasus International (UPI) has appointed a new business development manager in London to focus on international business.

UPI has supported the energy sector for over 50 years through its offices in the UK, US, Canada and Trinidad and Tobago.

UPI, which carries out work in the oil and gas industry around the world, has employed Tony Stead to increase the company’s client base and enable the firm to have greater access to its global market.

Tony was formerly with Lloyd’s Register as the compliance business development manager for Africa, he was also a member of the Energy Global Safety team. The 46-year-old was responsible for the company’s Africa strategy, accountable for business planning and growth, resilience testing, country entry, client relationship management and market analysis.

Tony said he was looking forward to increasing the company’s client base while helping the growth of the firm globally. He said: “UniversalPegasus International is a well-known company which is recognised for its excellent quality, its cost effectiveness and its superb reputation, both in the North Sea and globally.

“It is encouraging to have been recruited by a company with such an exciting and challenging year ahead with regards to its development and diversification. I look forward to working with everyone at UPI and meeting existing and future clients.”

UniversalPegasus International is a well-established and accredited ENR (Engineering News-Record) design firm, which specialises in oil and gas project management including; engineering and design, surveys, projects and programme management, construction management, inspection, operations and maintenance support, and Concept, FEED, feasibility and economic studies.

The company also has expertise in Geographical Information Systems (GIS), geospatial and geomatics, flow assurance, commissioning, start up and procurement services.
