PETROPERÚ to lift its oil pipeline

After an intervention by the Public Prosecutor's Office, the National Police and inspection bodies, guarantees have been obtained for the construction of gantries for the pipeline lift, at kilometre 237 of the north branch of the Norperuano Pipeline (ORN), located in the district of Manseriche, province of Datem del Marañón, Loreto region (Peru) and affected by an attack on 18 June.
After the lifting, the competent authorities will be summoned as OSINERMING, OEFA, Public Ministry, regional government, local governments, PCM, MINEM, and other local authorities as well as media, to verify the origin of the spill.
PETROPERÚ will continue informing about the evolution of the situation and invokes the inhabitants to maintain a climate of dialogue and social peace that will allow cleaning and remediation tasks in the affected area, in order to restore, in the shortest possible time, the around its usual conditions.
