Transneft Diascan participated in the 14th International Oil and Gas Exhibition, held on 27 - 30 June 2017 in Crocus Expo exhibition centre in Moscow.
Transneft Diascan showcased mock-ups of magnetic (MFL + TFI) and magnetic ultrasonic (MFL+WM+CD) combined defectoscopes on the company’s booth.
These devices are the unique developments of Transneft Diascan. The company was one of the first in the world, who suggested using this technology, which analogues were later used at oil transportation facilities for pipelines diagnostics all over the world.
Combined defectoscopes allow detecting different defects (corrosion, lamination, tool marks, crack-like defects both in pipe metal and in welding joints) more effectively in comparison with usual, not combined tools, for one pass through a pipeline.
