Rotork announces new personnel

Rotork is delighted to announce that Pamela Bingham is the new Managing Director of Rotork’s Gears division. This division of Rotork manufactures complete gearbox assemblies and valve adaption kits for use with actuators and as direct valve operators. It has facilities in the Netherlands, UK, Italy, China, USA and India.

Pamela joined Rotork in 2012 as Group Business Development Director and during her time at Rotork she has helped grow the business both organically and through acquisitions. Previously she has held legal, commercial and business development roles in the engineering, mining, renewable energy and oil and gas sectors.

Commenting on her new appointment, Pamela said: “I am delighted to be joining Rotork Gears and look forward to applying the experience and knowledge I have gained in my Rotork Business Development role to ensure continued growth for our Gears division.”

Fluid Systems

Rotork is also pleased to announce the appointment of Dave Littlejohns as Managing Director of Rotork Fluid Systems (RFS). RFS is the second largest division of the Rotork Group and specialises in the production of pneumatic and hydraulic actuators and control systems. It has manufacturing facilities in the UK, USA, Italy, Germany and Sweden, and the products are supported with Centres of Excellence strategically located around the world.

Dave joined Rotork’s engineering design department in 1985 before moving to Rochester, USA in 1996 as an engineer. He moved into sales before becoming General Manager of Rotork’s office in Petaluma. In 2006 he was appointed Managing Director of the Gears division and returned to the UK. During this time the division has grown and is now the leading supplier of valve gearboxes in the world.

Speaking about his new appointment, Dave said: “Joining the Rotork Fluid Systems team is an exciting opportunity for me and I expect to be able to combine my previous experience in the Controls and Gears divisions to help ensure the continued successful growth of the RFS business within the Rotork Group.”
