Service begins on Mid-America pipeline
Enterprise Product Partners L.P. has announced that transportation services for shippers who executed long-term agreements supporting the partnerships Mid-America Pipeline Rocky Mountain expansion project officially began on the 2nd January, 2014.
The project is designed to accommodate natural gas and NGL production from major basins in Utah, Colorado and Wyoming. Several new natural gas processing plants have been constructed in the Uinta and Green River basins that will benefit from the expansion.
Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and a leading North American provides of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals.
The partnership's assets include approximately 51,000 miles of onshore and offshore pipelines; 200 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals; and 14 billion m3 of natural gas storage capacity.
