The 16th edition of the technical conference and expo, taking place 22 – 24 February 2016 in Denver, Colorado, will focus on the latest airborne, terrestrial and underwater LiDAR as well as emerging remote-sensing and data collection tools and technology used for applications including Asset Management; Civil Infrastructure; Coastal Zone Mapping; Emergency Services & Disaster Response; Land and Natural Resource Management; and Urban Modeling.
The ILMF 2016 Programme comprises more than 60 presentations, with world-leading experts discussing latest linear LiDAR advances and applications, as well as new and complementary technologies, including Single Photon Counting, FLASH, and Geiger-Mode.
The programme also features important considerations such as data fusion/integration, point cloud extraction, UAV/UAS integration and comparisons of data collection methods for a range of applications.
The programme begins with a series of vendor product previews to update delegates on the latest advances in LIDAR and complementary solutions for precision measurement. The conference will conclude with an hour-long panel on ‘Game-Changing Technologies on the Horizon’ in which experts discuss and debate the technologies that show potential to both complement and potentially disrupt current technologies and practices.
