FERC delays pipeline review

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has announced an extension on public comments for the review of Kinder Morgan’s Northeast Energy Direct (NED) pipeline.
The deadline for the proposed natural gas pipeline – 320 miles of pipe that would connect fracking fields from Pennsylvania to Boston – was 31 August, but FERC has extended it to accommodate the public’s view and final hearing of the pipeline.
