Navigator extends open season for BGS pipeline system
Navigator Energy Services, LLC is extending the binding open season period for volume commitments on its Big Spring Gateway Pipeline System.
Due to customer interest the open season, which was scheduled to end 31 March, 2015, at 12:00 pm CDT, has been extended to end on 7 April, 2015, at 5:00 pm CDT.
BSG system details
As previously announced, the 140 000 bpd BSG System will serve crude oil producers and other shippers in the Permian Basin. The system will span Martin, Howard, Glasscock and Midland counties in Texas and include more than 250 miles of gathering pipeline, 200 miles of transportation mainline, seven truck injection stations and 225 000 bbls of planned storage capacity.
Under its FERC tariff, the BSG System will offer delivery into the BridgeTex Pipeline and Sunoco-operated pipelines near Colorado City, Texas. The BSG System will provide West Texas producers a direct path to approximately 900,000 bpd of pipeline takeaway from Colorado City to Texas Gulf Coast and Mid-Continent market centres. Navigator has commenced construction, and the BSG system is expected to be placed in service in the second half of 2015.
