World Pipelines,
The pipeline integrity division of Pure Technologies Ltd. (Pure), PureHM, has recently received purchase orders totalling over US$3 million from US-based pipeline companies.
The contracts are for inspection work that will be executed in the 1H17.
PureHM believes that this is an early indication of its US expansion strategy, which began in early 2015. This work includes confirmation of containment surveys using the company's proprietary SmartBallTM technology on major pipeline infrastructure connecting refineries in the US Gulf Coast to communities throughout the South and Eastern United States.
The division has also recently signed a contract renewal – valued at US$1 million per year for three years – from an energy customer located in British Columbia (Canada), for pipeline cathodic protection surveys and related services. This work represents an expected extension of services previously conducted through E-MAC Corrosion Inc., whose business and assets were acquired by the company on 30 December 2016.
