TC PipeLines announces 1Q17 cash distribution

TC PipeLines, LP (TCP) has recently announced that the board of directors of TC PipeLines GP, Inc. (its general partner) declared TCP’s 1Q17 cash distribution of US$0.94 per common unit.

The distribution is unchanged from 4Q16 distribution and represents a 6% increase from the US$0.89 per common unit distribution paid in1Q16.

This cash distribution is the 72nd consecutive quarterly distribution paid by TCP and is payable on 15 May 2017 to unitholders of record at the close of business on 5 May 2017.

TCP is a master limited partnership with interests in seven federally regulated US interstate natural gas pipelines, which serve markets in the western, midwestern and eastern US. The partnership is managed by its general partner, TC PipeLines GP, Inc., which is a subsidiary of TransCanada Corporation.
