Endress+Hauser announces it plans to build a new 100 000+ ft2 Gulf Coast Regional Centre Campus in Pearland, Texas, just outside of the Houston area. The campus will be located in Pearland’s lower Kirby District, in close proximity to the company’s oil and gas customer base. Construction is currently being planned to begin in 2019 with completion by the end of 2020.
“Our recent investments and campus expansions in the US demonstrates our commitment to support our customers,” said Todd Lucey, General Manager of Endress+Hauser, USA. “The new facilities enable us to improve our services, strategically develop and manage additional growth as well as expand our competencies across the industries we serve.”
The new campus will include areas for calibration, repair and training space, which will include a brand new state-of-the-art Process Training Unit (PTU®). It will house the Global Marketing and Applications group for SpectraSensors’ Gas Analysis business and contain office space for approximately 110 employees including Endress+Hauser’s sales and service provider, Vector Controls & Automation Group.
“We are very excited to be a part of this project,” said Jared Boudreaux, President of Vector Controls and Automation Group. “With our facilities on campus alongside our partner Endress+Hauser, we will increase our current facilities three-fold which will create a substantially larger and broader integrated approach to the market and serve our customers at the highest level.”
The project will include a design with emphasis on Regional Texas Architecture. Responsiveness to the local climate, use of regionally authentic interior and exterior materials and attention to scale are critical to the success of the project. The building will be designed under the guidelines of a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) ‘Silver’ project as stipulated by the US Green Building Council, reflecting Endress+Hauser’s sustainability principles.
