Farwest Corrosion Control Company has implemented free technical consultation for cathodic protection and corrosion control through ‘Ask the Farwest Expert’. A dedicated hotline and email for ‘Ask the Farwest Expert’ have been established to route inquiries directly to experts on products, engineering and construction. The free service is available to customers and industry colleagues. Farwest experts will respond to all inquiries directly, either at the time of the inquiry or within two hours. Farwest provides cathodic protection and corrosion control services for industries that maintain underground and underwater infrastructure, storage systems or other submerged metallic structures.
“While our customers and our company are deemed essential businesses during this COVID-19 pandemic, we are all affected by safety precautions. We wanted to find a way to provide an extra measure of support. We decided to use our expert knowledge to be an immediate resource for our customers and colleagues. Many of our customers, who are working from home, may not have access to the resource files or field technicians they need for product, project or construction questions. Field technicians often need consultative resources to help with onsite issues. With skeleton teams in place right now, we thought access to our experts could fill some gaps,” commented Troy Rankin, President of Farwest Corrosion Control.
Farwest experts can provide information, collaboration, product details, technical suggestions and best practice insights to inquiries from callers. “Sometimes customer questions can be simple or they can have a complex issue. Whether it is a conversation with our experts or providing a referral to another resource, we are standing ready to help our customers in the Oil and Gas, Water and Wastewater, Power and Marine industries,” Mr. Rankin concluded.
