Why is future-proofing the gas grid for hydrogen so important?

It is widely known that continued exploration, production, and utilisation of fossil fuels will lead to significant and irrevocable damage to the planet. With extreme weather events, global temperatures and sea levels increasing across the planet, it is the responsibility of the energy industry and world governments to meet the energy demands of the population with solutions that do not exacerbate an already perilous situation. This means there has never been a more important time for a renewable, clean source of energy such as hydrogen, to enter energy networks. It is essential that businesses take a proactive approach the environment and sustainable solutions.
