NDT Global has announced the commercial launch of CIGMA-x™, marking a major milestone achieved in close collaboration with its Innovation Partners.
The launch represents the culmination of a full development cycle, a shared vision, technical collaboration, and field validation with operators who played a fundamental role from concept to market reality.
CIGMA-x was developed in direct response to our operating partners' feedback calling for solutions with an increased level of reliability identify stress corrosion cracking in gas pipelines. From early design to full-scale validation, our Innovation Partners shaped the technology’s performance requirements, operational readiness, and regulatory alignment.

CIGMA-x takes NDT Global's established approach and dedication to the ultrasonic crack detection in liquid pipelines to the gas environment utilising unique ultrasonic Lamb Wave technology, advanced signal processing, and machine-learning insights. The result provides step-change in detection reliability, reduced uncertainty, and greater confidence for integrity decision-making.
