Henkel/Seal For Life Industries has launched Verticalflex, the newest innovation from Anodeflex, pioneers of linear anode technology. Verticalflex is a fully integrated, factory-assembled continuous MMO deep anode system, designed for faster, more reliable installation and long-lasting cathodic protection performance.
Leveraging decades of expertise in cathodic protection solutions, Verticalflex introduces UltraVent – the most advanced venting technology available today – to overcome limitations of traditional MMO systems and ensure consistent results in even the harshest environments.
Verticalflex delivers:
- Continuous MMO anode technology – engineered for uniform current distribution, low consumption rates, and extended service life.
- Configurable current output – adaptable from 10A up to 80A to match project requirements.
- Precision factory assembly – ensuring consistent quality and eliminating installation errors.
- 100% waterproof cable connections – factory-sealed to guarantee electrical integrity.
- Streamlined installation – reel-delivered with pre-attached weights, centralisers, and depth markings for ease and reliability.
“With Verticalflex, we’ve redefined how continuous deep anodes are deployed,” says Dean Lioliou, Business Development Manager. “From its abrasion-resistant outer design to its integrated centralisers and pre-attached installation aids, every element of Verticalflex was developed to solve long-standing industry challenges and deliver unmatched reliability.”
The system is manufactured under strict quality controls with advanced automation to provide durability, efficiency, and performance for applications in high-resistivity, acidic, and chloride-rich soils.
Launched at the recent AMPP Conference in Odessa, TX, the reaction from customers was incredibly positive. “I really like how you have protected the cables and the anode inside your braiding, which would prevent any possibility of them getting damaged during install”, said one customer. “Wow, putting a marking system every 10 ft on the anode will help me and my contractor know exactly how far we have put the anode down the hole, which no other system has”, said another.
“Verticalflex is the result of listening to our customers and applying Seal For Life’s innovation-driven approach,” says Stuart Wilson, Sr. VP Critical Infrastructure and Machinery, Henkel. “This new solution builds on Anodeflex’s leadership in linear anode systems and reinforces our mission to deliver superior infrastructure protection worldwide.”
