Don Baldridge, president of DCP Midstream, was re-elected as chairman of the Texas Pipeline Association (TPA). TPA is the largest state trade association in the country that solely represents the interests of the intrastate pipeline network. The association formally made the announcement on 10 January at its annual meeting, held at the C. Baldwin, Curio Collection by Hilton in downtown Houston.
“For the past year, Don has been an invaluable asset to the Texas Pipeline Association and its member companies,” said TPA President Thure Cannon. "We are very pleased that he will serve another year as chairman. I look forward to working with him again on the issues that face our industry leading to the next legislative session.”
Baldridge has more than 20 years of experience in the energy industry, including commercial, trading and business development activities. In his current role, he is responsible for operations and commercial activity for gathering and processing and natural gas liquids (NGL) logistics within DCP’s Permian and South business units, as well as origination, business development, optimisation, contract administration, gas control, and marketing and trading. Previously, Baldridge was president of the marketing and logistics business unit for DCP Midstream, responsible for NGLs and natural gas pipeline and storage assets, as well as marketing and trading activities. Prior to that, he was vice president of business development of DCP Midstream, responsible for business development and corporate development activities coordinated with DCP Midstream Partners. He began his career with the company in 2005 as director of corporate development managing acquisition evaluation and negotiations for multiple midstream acquisition opportunities. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Virginia and a master’s in business administration from the University of Denver.
