Provider of engineering and project management services to the energy industry, Penspen, has announced two new appointments at its Centre for Engineering Excellence (CEE), which has been in operation since January. Tom Agbabi will join in the area of field development while Peter Falconer will provide asset integrity expertise.
The CEE is a virtual environment that provides users with support from Penspen’s industry experts. The team will work to provide the best possible solutions to Penspen’s clients around the world.
Dr Tom Agbabi joined Penspen six years ago and started at the CEE in April. Agbabi brings 25 years’ experience in several technical roles to the centre. He will manage engineering studies for Penspen’s clients, including field development studies, conceptual studies, FEEDs, capital estimates and proposal support.
Peter Falconer brings 30 years of global experience in the field. He has worked in all areas of asset integrity management, including offshore, onshore, pressure systems, pipelines, subsea, etc. His roles in the oil and gas industry include a range of positions from design, analysis and management to operations and decommissioning. Falconer will be supporting clients with asset integrity studies, asset life extension and decommissioning in his new role with the company.
