Trans Mountain prepare for oral summary arguments

The National Energy Board Panel (NEB) will hear an oral summary argument from intervenors in the Trans Mountain hearing process, beginning at 9:00 am PST 19 January 2016, at the Delta Burnaby Hotel and Conference Centre, 4331 Dominion St, Burnaby, British Columbia.

The hearing will also be live webcast in both official languages, here.

Transcripts and video archives will be available on the NEB website within a day.

Media accreditation is required for all journalists, photographers, and videographers who wish to attend the hearing in-person.

To receive accreditation, media should be at the hearing venue by 8:00 am. Any recording equipment must be set up by 8:30 am.

Media must be able to present government issued photo ID along with a business card and/or a letter requesting accreditation on official letterhead of a media organisation, signed by the Publisher, Editor-in-chief, or Assignment Editor (along with their contact information).

KMI vs NEB: the final countdown

Many people have been calling for Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to postpone Kinder Morgan’s Trans Mountain pipeline hearing, stating that he has not kept his promises regarding pipeline regulatory processes. Soon, the National Energy Board will hold hearings on the project, and by May 2016, the decision on whether to approve it or not should be made.
