Shelli Myers of WhiteWater Midstream, LLC has been elected to a two-year term as chair of the Texas Pipeline Association (TPA), the USA’s largest state trade association representing intrastate pipeline operators. Myers is the first woman in the organisation’s 42 year history to serve in this leadership role.
The announcement was made last Friday during TPA’s Annual Meeting luncheon at the C. Baldwin Hotel in downtown Houston.
“Shelli’s regulatory background and industry experience make her exceptionally well-qualified to lead TPA,” said TPA President Thure Cannon. “She has been a trusted voice within our organisation, and we welcome her leadership as we tackle the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for Texas’ pipeline network – the largest of any state in the nation.”
Myers is manager of regulatory compliance at WhiteWater Midstream, LLC, where she brings more than two decades of experience in the midstream energy sector. She has been with WhiteWater for more than five years, leading regulatory compliance initiatives and supporting the company’s operational and governance objectives.
Previously, Myers served as a consultant managing Integrity Management Programs, as well as Legal and Regulatory Coordinator for NorTex Gas Storage. She also held regulatory roles with Enterprise Products Operating, LLC. Myers earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University.
“I am truly honoured to serve as chair of this outstanding organisation,” said Myers. “TPA plays a critical role in advocating for safe, reliable and efficient pipeline infrastructure across Texas. I look forward to working alongside our member companies and leadership team to advance policies that support energy reliability, economic growth and regulatory certainty for our industry.”
As chair, Myers will lead TPA’s Board of Directors to help advance the association’s advocacy, member engagement and public policy priorities.
