The Garden Banks natural gas pipeline sid ue to come back online in February, following a three month shutdown due to a fire on a platform.

The line has been shut due to a fire on a Royal Dutch Shell platform in the Gulf of Mexico.

Enbridge Inc., which runs the 1 billion ft3/d Garden Banks gas pipeline, has notified customers that its work to separate the pipeline from Shell’s fire-damaged Enchilada platform will be completed in early February.

The fire halted production at Shell’s Enchilada and Salsa platforms, and Hess Corp.’s Baldpate platform.
