Transneft Diascan’s chemical laboratory has passed an inspection confirming its compliance with the criteria of the international assay laboratories accreditation system (SAAL) and the requirements of GOST R ISO/IEC 17025-2009.

The inspection was conducted by the Analitica Association of Analytical Centre (AAC Analitica), acknowledged to be a full member of such international accreditation organisations as ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Co-operation) and APLAC (Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Co-operation).

The inspection examined the procedure performance of the laboratory in compliance with the company’s quality manual, along with the efficiency of Transneft Diascan’s quality system, including the results of inter-laboratory comparative tests.

The inspectors checked and analysed the accuracy of the intra-laboratory control results and stability, and reviewed the documented information.

Transneft Diascan’s chemical laboratory received a regular international accreditation in 2015, having obtained an expert evaluation certificate and accreditation certificates in the ILAC and APLAC systems valid for five years. The accreditation must be confirmed annually through inspection.
