Noverus Capital Inc. has announced that it has acquired Gas Certification Institute LLC (GCI) from EnerACT Energy Services Inc.
GCI said this acquisition enables it to expand its expertise and services in hydrocarbon measurement, further supporting Noverus' mission to enhance industry standards.
GCI provides support in SOP development, measurement, calibration, and regulatory compliance for natural gas and liquid measurement. Its SOP manuals, aligned with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) principles, emphasise transparency, regulatory adherence, and operational precision. As part of this transition, GCI will establish an Advisory Council composed of industry experts to ensure it meets the dynamic needs of operators. This initiative aims to deliver best-in-class training and reinforce GCI's position as a leader in hydrocarbon measurement.
"Noverus Capital is excited to support GCI’s journey toward innovation and growth," said Adedeji Tejuoso, CEO of Noverus Capital. "We recognize the incredible potential of GCI’s dedicated team and its invaluable programs for industry professionals."
Russel Treat, CEO of EnerACT, added, “We take pride in GCI’s success, having trained thousands of measurement technicians. We are confident that under Noverus’s ownership, GCI will continue to expand and innovate, providing clients with an enhanced scope of services.”
