Loading operation carried out at Khorramshahr industrial yard

A loading operation of the 1640 t platform 19B, with a production capacity of 14.2 million m3 of sour gas from south pars field, was carried out at the Khorramshahr industrial yard.

According to public relations of pars oil and gas company, with the completion of loading and transport operations in the next week, the last platform of phase 19 will be installed in the Persian Gulf by the end of this month.

With this platform, the offshore development plan of phase 19 with two main 2750 t platforms and two 1640 t platforms as well as drilling completion of 21 wells, testing and commissioning of 18 in. transmission pipeline will be completed thus according to onshore processing condition, the project will be ready to inaugurate and operation in March.

According to Hamidreza Masoudi, Project Director of phase 19, this phase currently injects at the average of 31 million m3 of sour gas to cross country pipelines that it will increase up to 56 million m3 and it will also produce 80 000 bbls of condensate and 400 t of sulfur by total fulfilment of this plan.

Pointing to 166 million people per hour of safe work in the whole of this plan, Maoudi said phase 19 is the most advanced phase of south pars gas field due to equipment and modern laboratory packages.
