Seal for Life

Five reasons to talk to us

The presentation will provide details about Seal for Life’s technologies including history, current activities and future opportunities. Seal for Life manufactures 4 technologies of coatings plus a line of cathodic protection products.

The 4 pipeline coatings include:

  • Polyken tapes that are considered legacy products since they have been in use since the mid 1950s. Although a mature technology, the various grades of products continue to be in wide use globally.
  • Covalence heat-shrinkable sleeves, the original heat shrinkable anticorrosion technology. Seal for Life's roots go back to being the inventor of the technology and, today, the company continues to invest in improving existing and developing new products.
  • Powercrete 100% solids 2-part liquid epoxies. The line includes products for direct-to-metal corrosion protection and products for mechanical protection used in directional drilling and pipeline boring applications.
  • Stopaq, the original visco-elastic coating technology protecting assets against the ingress of water, oxygen and bacteria while offering systems with the lowest total lifetime cost.

The cathodic protection technologies are branded as Anodeflex, offering continuous cathodic protection with optimally distributed current. The systems are ideal for cathodic protection and AC mitigation of pipelines, plant piping and storage tanks.

Seal for Life is in a unique position in terms of manufacturing multiple technologies of coatings such that the company can provide a choice in coating selection to match the customer needs. This, tied with being a manufacturer of cathodic protection systems, gives Seal for Life a strong understanding of how coatings and cathodic protection work individually or as a team.
